Does anyone know how to locate phone numbers free? I've been trying to find a couple old friends and i wanted to see if there was a way without paying for it. I'm not to good at knowing where to go in the computer Josh replied: "dude, internet"

I expect they will try to get you to go to one of their seminars where they will try to sell you time share, or offer you free flight and you only have to pay for part of something, the word is Pay for something they`re very clever"
BARRY B replied: "It's a scam. They can reroute 0800 numbers to a horrendously chargeable number. Also there is no such thing as a free holiday. It is one of the oldest tricks in the book. Even if it is genuine, which is unlikely, there will be so many strings attached and hidden extras that you will end up wishing you hadn't responded. At best you will end up on a building site, in the rain, having flown overnight having suffered flight cancellations and delays with no reps to help you at either airport.

We All Need To Save During This Recession" Is there any company who can "keep" (port-in) cell phone numbers free or cheap ? I don't want to lose numbers. I switched cell phone company but don't want to transfer my old cell phone number to the new carrier but also I don't want to loose it while I update my contact numbers.
Is there any company or service provider, who can charge minimal fee and allow me to port-in phone number, so i don't loose phone number and also get call record or voice message if someone call old phone number ? keeping both cell phone carriers is an expensive solution.
thanks for the reply, but it's not that simple,
anyway, I just converted my old number to pay-to-go plan and changed answer system message to call the new number.. so I don't have to pay expensive monthly fees and still people can get the new number by calling the old number.

I don't think anybody has a call forwarding system for mobile phones, why don't you just keep your same number? They can port your number over to your new company and that doesn't usually cost anything. Then you wouldn't have to call everyone in your contacts to let them know you have a new number.
